Terrelle University is committed to creating a campus culture that promotes equity, diversity, and inclusion, preparing students to thrive in a multicultural and interconnected world.
Our staff recruitment and student’s admissions policies are centered on recruiting students, faculty, and staff from diverse backgrounds and with no bias towards a particular gender and also support equitable access to education and opportunities.
We are also committed to developing Cultural Competence Training in both University Staff and students so that we increase awareness and understanding of different cultures, identities, and perspectives. This we hope will create a more inclusive environment and reduces misunderstandings or biases. Through our policies such as Disability Policy, we are committed to ensuring that that facilities, resources, and services are accessible to individuals with disabilities and other marginalized groups.
Through offices of the Dean of students and Students Union, Celebration of Diversity is upheld through celebration of cultural heritage months, hosting diversity-related events, that showcases the achievements and contributions of diverse individuals and groups within the university community.
